You can discover unknown places and cultures with just one rail pass
The Rail-Planner app is designed to help you make your Eurail or Interrail journey smooth and stress-free, whether you're boarding the next train at the station or planning your next trip from the comfort of your sofa.

This step of the design process is about analyzing the application thoroughly. The structure, advantages, and disadvantages, as well as the app's functions, were examined here. We also created user profiles, which should guide us through the process.

We continued with the first sketches of ideas for the implementation, which were created in the Design Studio. With these, we captured the research and concept phase results in visual, concrete sketches. Here, the implementation ideas of the individual main functional points and the Delight feature played a significant role.

Delight feature

Our Delight feature - the community and thus the task of connecting Interrail travelers with each other. Besides the possibility to assign an archetype through a step-by-step process in the wizard at the beginning of the app, you also have the opportunity to view the matching rate to other Interrail travelers.

Due to the preceding steps, the task was to design and implement the final app as a prototype. Based on our design filter attributes, personal, structured, and connecting, and the previously developed concept, we designed a style guide that would consistently define the user interface of our redesigns.
